DEMOGala 2005
Over 500 people attended CSIA's first-ever DEMOGala. The event proved to be CSIA's largest attended event throughout the organization's 10 year history. CSIA's DEMOGala began by showcasing featured Colorado technology companies with demonstrations and exhibits by 28 companies, whose inventions and discoveries are impacting the success of industries around the globe. Companies chosen to participate in DEMOGala come from across a broad spectrum of advanced technologies including Nanotechnology, Photonics, Robotics, RFID, GPS, Storage, Aviation, Energy, Animation, Software, Internet, Bioscience, Medical Devices and more. All invited companies are either developing their technology in Colorado or have their corporate offices based in Colorado.
Meg Whitman, President and CEO of Internet mega-auction site eBay, saluted Colorado’s advanced technology companies during remarks as the keynote speaker at CSIA's inaugural DEMOGala event. Whitman applauded the Internet for continuing to revolutionize the world and empowering billions of people to start independent businesses.
