LegiNation, Inc.


LegiNation, Inc. was founded with the goal of making state level legislation more readily available to the professionals who need it, and even more importantly to the public at large. We are building products and websites to spark a renaissance in American politics, leveraging the internet to create the dialog so desperately needed amongst our elected officials, legislative professionals, and everyday citizens.

LegiNation offers two primary products:

  • BillTrack50 to serve people with a financial or other interest in legislation.
  • Chatterslate, which will be a social venue designed to encourage discussion, collaboration, and community built around issues people are passionate about.

Both websites will be tied to our back end database of lobbyists, legislators, and current bills. Both BillTrack50 and Chatterslate are simple, straight forward ideas; the magic happens when you put the two together. Creating a marketplace where people can find lobbyists will empower many more groups to participate in the existing political process. Creating a forum for discussion where legislators, lobbyists, policy analysts, and other legislative professionals can communicate freely with the general public will be the catalyst we need to finally revolutionize politics using modern technology as the basis for a genuine democracy.
